Oceanside Minor Hockey will be holding their Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Oceanside Place in the Multi-purpose Room. Registration will open at 7:00pm with the meeting beginning at 7:30pm.
There are a number of executive positions that will be up for election. These positions are for a two year term and are:
President (must have served at least 2 full years on the executive committee previously) - incumbent Dylan Martini
2nd Vice President (must have served at least 11 months on the executive committee previously) - incumbent Leslie Baynes
Secretary - position is vacant
Referee in Chief - position is vacant
Cross Ice Coordinator - position is vacant
Female Coordinator - incumbent Kristin Hendriks
Equipment Coordinator - position is vacant
Competitive Coordinator - position is vacant
The Development Coordinator position is vacant - the Executive Committee will appoint someone for a one year term. Let the executive know if you are interested in this position.
Nominations for any of the above positions should be forwarded to administrator@oceansidehockey.com no later than April 14, 2024. Nominations from the floor at the AGM will not be accepted. You are welcome to nominate yourself or anyone else, and nominations for the positions currently with an incumbent will be welcome. Please attach a short bio outlining your hockey experience.
At this time, we will also be gathering names for division coordinators (U11, U13, U15, U18 Recreational). These are appointed positions so if you are interested, let the Recreational Coordinator know at the AGM.
Executive year end reports will be posted to the OMHA website under OMHA INFO-Executive Year End Reports 2023/2024. The 2023/2024 Agenda as well as the 2022/2023 AGM Minutes can also be found under the same tab.
As with previous AGM"s, we will be drawing for door prizes at the end of the meeting. You must be present to win.
